Your credit file is information about you and yes, you are entitled to get it. There are 2 types of services available and first one is free but, may take few days up to 2 weeks receive it. Second service is at charge and you can get it instantly via email, fax or post. Content is same so, if you are not in a hurry, just get free report. equifax.com is one place where you can get some information from.

The only place to get your free credit report is annualcreditreport.com – you can order one credit report once a year from each credit bureau. None of these reports come with credit score. You would have to purchase the credit score from each bureau. However, you can get all 3 credit reports and all 3 credit scores as a free trial from http://www.freescore.com. You can check it out at no charge if you cancel within 7 days.
